"Is that really necessary?"

Someone posted the following message to me on Facebook about posting such a graphic picture [of this murdered baby in South Africa]: "Is that really necessary? Rather tasteless to post something like this I'd say."

My reply: "Oh hell, you're worried about ''taste" when a little baby was murdered and butchered and goodness knows what done to the poor little innocent victim??? This is a WAKE UP call and a plea for help. If people like me don't tell the world what is going on in South Africa, how will they know that their help is desperately needed to help secure safety for the citizens of this beautiful, sad, crime ridden land???? What if this was YOUR child??? Wouldn't you want to cry out to the whole world what wrong was done to him/her? If we don't speak up against these horrible crimes, how will they be stopped???...

Perhaps we, xxxxxx, living abroad (you are in Thailand, right) are perfectly situated to tell the stories of the innocent victims of crime back home. But some of us, living abroad, seem not to care any-more. It's not their problem; they got out, left. But what about those of our people that can't or don't want to leave South Africa? Who will protect them and help them? My family and friends are all still there and they live amongst those who killed this little baby! The killers walk amongst them and "us" with "us" being the normal citizens of the land we once called home."

WHO HAVE YOU TOLD???

May God forgive us if we don’t tell others that there are other human beings in desperate need of our help!

De La Rey

'n Video about the brutal war the British waged against the (mostly Afrikaans) Boere in South Africa. The ONLY reason why the fighting farmers surrendered was because the British put all women and children in concentrations camps where they died in their thousands.

'n Video wat die oorlog tussen die Britte en die Boere gedenk. Die enigste rede hoekom die boere oorgegee het, is omdat die Britte die vrouens en kinders in konsentrasie kampe gestop het, waar hulle in hulle duisende gesterf het.

DIE KAPLYN - BOK VAN BLERK (VAN CD - "AFRIKANERHART" -BLOG www.diekaplyn.co.za))

Like the Irish, Afrikaans people have a history of fighting for survival. What a wonderful video that captures the pain and the longing of a nation.

Soos die Iere, het Afrikaners 'n geskiedenis van stryd om te oorleef as 'n nasie. Wat 'n wonderlike video wat die pyn en die verlange van 'n nasie so kosbaar vasvang.
