I'd like to invite you to get Viber.
It's an iPhone and Android app that lets you make phone calls and send text messages locally & internationally without charge. THAT's right, it's FREE!
It's just like Skype, or your standard phone, and SMS, but using your data plan, and you don't need to sign up with a registered account.
The cool thing is you can msg between smartphones just like iMessage and BBM. You can also use any wireless network or you phone network data plan AND IT IS SO EASY to get going.
You can download Viber from:
http://www.viber.com/dl or download the app from your smartphone's app store.
Remember to sync your contacts. You will need to have phone numbers for people you'd like to viber.
